Born of a partnership between the Not-for-Profit Englewood Community Development Corporation and TWG Development, Oxford Place is on track to become Indiana’s first Net Positive Energy Multifamily Project. This Near-East Side revitalization project began with intensive collaboration with community partners, public forums, as well as idea exchanges with Ball State University Planning Students. Using public input and shared intelligence, DKGR developed designs for this 30-Unit, three-story development. After several rounds of public discussion and input the design was finalized and a green strategy was developed. By reducing energy Consumption, Conserving expended energy and Creating on-site energy, Oxford Place hopes to be a model for energy independence in the State of Indiana.
